What is commercial print finishing?
Print finishing begins where printing companies leave off. We take your printed materials, and transform them into something that your end customer will not forget. Ocean State Bookbinding provides the services you need to create these functional and sophisticated print materials with the latest equipment and tools. Print finishing takes large scale printed materials, and binds, glues, die-cuts, folds, or any other creative types of transformation, and provides a final, custom piece that will help you to help sell your products.
We can prepare your paper products for shipment to customers with shrink wrapping, handwork, kitting, and other finishing touches.

Who we are
We employ over 60+ local Rhode Islanders who are dedicated to providing the highest quality projects possible. When we first opened, we had 7 people per shift in a 4,000 square foot building. We have grown into a 60 person, two shift operation that occupies 25,000 square feet. We have gone from 14 pieces of equipment to over 100! We celebrated our 20 year anniversary in 2020 and are proud to be a part of the Rhode Island business community.

Bruce Boyarsky
President and owner of Ocean State Book Binding, Bruce Boyarsky, combines over 35 years of experience with bindery processes and finishing services, including cutting, folding, book binding, complex case binding, and mailing services. He is on the boards of PINE (Printing Industries of New England) and the Austim Project.
Prior to establishing his own company, Bruce worked at Bindagraphics, one of the largest trade binderies in the US. As Director of Operations, he was able to bring the company to ISO 9000 registration, making it the first bindery in the US to receive the certification.
